Hyper Knight requires you to wear a helmet and wield a sword to collect the souls of your enemies. You play as a knight, assisting him in his fight against hordes of monsters in a post-apocalyptic world. Your objective is to make it through each level unscathed. You will be under constant attack from monsters. You must eliminate all enemies by utilizing your knight's array of weaponry.
At the beginning of the game, if your knight approaches an enemy, he will automatically swing his sword. As your foes die, they'll let go of their souls, which you can then use to gather their dreadful essence. You will earn points for every monster you vanquish. Many of your knight's abilities go unrecognized. You can better equip yourself, learn magical attacks, and level up your stats using the cash you earn.
