To initiate the first phase of this battle, you can hold your character in place and move around to create a sand orb. Move around and hold the buttons to energize a ball; the longer you hold the buttons, the larger the ball grows. Aim it at the wave of enemies attacking you, then pull the trigger to fire and eradicate them all in order to complete a level.
